well i guess i have to be the guy that says NO

well, lemme start off by saying that this was very original good job! being as it that i'm not the kind of asshole to say "I hate it" but give no reason as to why,cause i know how much work went into this, esp. the physics of the thing. here are a couple of reasons i don't like it..

1. Whhew that sound will kill you after awhile!

2. staring at the lower left side of the screen while having the moving clouds on the top makes for the "Down Syndrome" eyeball effect.........couldnt' tell if the sticks were moving toward me or the castle away from me.

3. Come on guys make some better instructions, took me awhile to find out how to actually MAKE archers and bomber guys!

4. Shorten the time it takes to convert someone..

5. Kill that upkeep thing, after awhile once you get enough archers, mages, and bomber dudes it doen't really matter anyway, you can end up with so many people that all you have to do is watch anyway!

All in all i spent about 2 hours playing. so i feel i really went though it...I appreciate the hard work, and it looks like a SHIT load of people LOVE it and i'm glad for you, but for me, Personally i think you need to just do some minor edits, and then i'll stamp my "hella Cool" sticker on it.........i'll be back!

HOLY SHIT!

Coming from a development background myself I have to say that this has to be the most advanced flash application i've seen! then Graphics being rendered in a 3d Environment paid off, plus the scripting is VERY intense..the AI is Great! The Thought and time put into this definately paid off! GREAT JOB!!! OUTSTANDING WORK GUYS!!!

but the music did get annoying, but fuck the music this app rocks!

I agree with you, I think this site is very much on it's way out.........I mean, this site used to be a good place to put out your flash work, I used this place to try to find work, however with the endless pop-ups, and porn/beastiality banners, what serious flash animator is going to put his works here? I mean, if i'm just screwing around i might throw something up, but i would never seriously consider putting up my best work up here.....thats the problem all the serious flash animators that like to put their name on their works have left, I mean if there is something I have been working on for months the last place I would throw it up is next to the porn banner, I mean, this sites awards mean crap, who would be proud to say to their boss/cleints "yeah, my flash animation won an award on newgrounds........yes the one with the million pop-ups and the porn." Now all that is left is a bunch of 15 year olds that, draw stick figures saying "fuck off", Wake up Tom clean up your site, and maybe a few serious artists might come back.........then you could take down that damn "create a ride" thing that has been up there for MONTHS AND MONTHS!
